In Loving Memory of Lynzay Legois 1992-2006
Lynzay Marie Legois Lynzay was born in Racine on August 28, 1992. She was an Eighth Grade student at St. Lucy Catholic School, where she excelled in many subjects, especially in Religion class. Lynzay was looking forward to playing “Mrs. Claus” in the upcoming St. Lucy Christmas Pageant. She lived her Catholic faith by the decisions she made in life. Lynzay’s infectious smile brightened the school every day and was a great example to her fellow students of all grades. Lynzay was a devoted member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. She was also actively involved with the Aquaducks Waterski Show Team at Browns Lake where she and her father were a dynamic doubles duo; she enjoyed springing around on the Racine Gymnastics All-Star Cheerleading Squad (she just broke her arm last Monday while fearlessly flipping about during practice); took third place, along with her three other St. Lucy squad members at a 2006 Cheerleading Competition; dancing with the Racine Studio of Performing Arts; playing the piano; and, of course, singing with the beautiful gift she was given by God. Above all, Lynzay was happiest when in the surroundings of her entire family. May our darling Angel rest in peace. We miss you Lynzay! Surviving are her father, Richard “Rick” Legois; mother, Patricia Hummel; step-mother, Denice Legois; sister, Tara (David Batesole) Hummel; brothers, Raymond (Stacy) Hummel and Wesley Rossal; soon to be born nephew, Landen Hummel (Lynzay was anxiously awaiting becoming an aunt); grandparents, Edwin and Helen Craw; Wayne (Rose) Legois; Terrance (Marsha) Harbin; aunts and uncles, Marion (Ronnie) Roberts, Lucille Harbin and Sharon Alberts, Thomas (Angela Reise) Legois, Andrew (Jennifer) Kothe, Dawn Kothe, Daniel (Terri) Kothe, Loni Fuller, Leann (Michael) Greenquist and Edwin Harbin; and by many special cousins, other relatives and loving friends too numerous to mention by name. In honor of Lynzay’s great love for her God and for St. Lucy’s, memorials may be made to St. Lucy School for the Lynzay Legois Memorial Scholarship Fund which will be established in her memory. Forever Missed by The Aquaducks |
