For 30 years the Browns Lake Water Ski Club has preformed our water ski shows on Saturday night. This year 2008 we have decided to try to reach more of our friends by changing our show to Thursday night. It was our thought that during the summer Saturday nights might be a little busy for everyone to break away from their week-end activities to come and watch us. Since our audience has changed over the years we thought we should attempt to change with them by giving them a better chance to come and follow our show during the summer hoping that Thursday night might be a easier night to come out to our show site and enjoy our performance. Also our show has become more difficult to ski as competition for our skiers trying to always be the best that they can be and having to battle the summer boat traffic safety has also entered in this decision.
Our junior show will be able to ski in what we hope are much better water conditions giving them a better chance to learn there sport which is very important giving them a chance to become very good show skiers. Remember we will be performing every Thursday night all summer with the exception of the Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. On those holidays we will still perform on Saturday night. All shows will start at 6:30 P.M. We are hoping that this new night will make our show more enjoyable time to watch and hope you come out and see us.

They also took 1st place for Dock and Equipment and 1st place for the Ballet Line. The Ballet Line has won this 5 times now. Hans Hauschild won the ‘Most Outstanding Trick Skier’ award for Division II.
On August 5th the team traveled to Warsaw, Indiana to compete at Division II Nationals. Dock and Equipment, Tow Boats, Pickup Boats, and Ballet Line all took 1st place. The club also received the Best Pyramid honors with their 4 high double top Pyramid. The 1st one to be done by a Division II Team at Nationals. Overall the team took 2nd place at nationals.
